Here’s a case study showcasing the impact of my work in collaboration with Proxycheap.
About Proxycheap
Proxy-cheap is one of the market’s most adaptable proxy service providers. Residential proxies, mobile proxies, and IPv6 datacenter proxies are all available.
Their target audience: Business owners, Internet Marketers, Saas companies, Data Analysts and Researchers, e-commerce professionals, collectors, travel enthusiasts etc.
The Strategy
When researching about the uses of proxies, we found that a lot of people use their proxies to access a website called tamilmv – its actually a website which is used to watch movies and is really popular in India. But it can only be used with a proxy/VPN.
This was an amazing gap and the kw volume for this keyword was 1.3M globally.
And since we knew people cannot access the website without a proxy, we knew if this page was ranked, it would lead to direct conversions.
Researched and created a content brief for it:
Here is the exact brief I created: Tamilmv Proxy SOP.pdf
And here is the page we made: https://www.proxy-cheap.com/use-cases/other/tamilmv
Results
It started ranking almost instantly and is currently the highest-traffic page for them. It’s getting around 100k+ traffic from just this page along with other blogs for which the content briefs were created by me.
Also, that page is ranked for 800+ other keywords because it was optimized for multiple related keywords as well.
The estimated value for that page according to Ahrefs is $42,000 but in real books, its generating more than that in terms of customer LTV.
Then we started creating pages for each of these use cases and made a subfolder for it: https://www.proxy-cheap.com/use-cases
So covered various other use cases for the product and is getting direct commercial traffic for it.
Blogs
I also lead the content process at Proxycheap from keyword research, clustering, content briefs and editing.
Even though the last blog was created in August, the blogs still get good traffic and retain the rankings. This is due to the user-first approach in our blogs.
Check out some blog content briefs: Blogs
Almost all the blogs are ranked on the first page.
Creative Widgets
You can also find a lot of interactive widgets through the pages, these were made from suggestions in the content briefs.
You can find an example in the homepage – a widget that helps you estimate the costs for different services.
That one element has improved the time spent on the page by 35% and most of the users who interacted with that element went to the next step of going to the order page directly.
That is also possible also because of the great product and good user experience – Kudos to the engineering and design teams at Proxycheap.
So now you can understand how much difference a proper researched content brief can do to both SEO and revenue for a business.
I also do audits for pages to make an impact on better rankings and also on improving the conversions with existing traffic.
My USP
Most people try to solve the traffic problem – which is getting traffic to know about your services. However, I focus on solving both the traffic problem through SEO and the conversion problem with CRO and optimizing the pages.
Since I am a marketer at the core, I always optimize for revenue that is just some traffic. Feel free to reach out if you are looking for someone who is much more than just another SEO guy!
